The Lodi Rocket Rebels are the Lodi High School TARC Rocket Team in New Jersey that competes in the Team America Rocketry Challenge. This is a national contest sponsored by the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) and the National Association of Rocketry (NAR). The team allows students to apply their math and science skills to a real world problem. Students will design, build and fly a rocket of their own design to carry 2 raw eggs in a vertical and horizontal orientation to 850 feet and return it safely in 44-46 seconds. In addition to using math and science skills, students will learn to use a computer design and simulation program to design and test their rocket. Meetings will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in Room 217. The team is open to any Lodi High School student. The only requirement is that they be willing to work hard, learn about rocketry, and apply those lessons while having fun!
Stop by Room 217 or contact Mr. Ghobrial for more information
